Georgie Harrison

Georgie Harrison is an award-winning seascape artist based in Cornwall.

Georgie gathers photographs and videos out on her paddleboard that

capture the shifting light, movement and atmosphere of the ocean. Back in

the studio, these references are translated into oil paintings that move

between abstraction and representation, capturing the ever-changing

surface of the sea. In 2025, she was awarded the Notable Oil Painting

Award by Winsor & Newton at the Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual

Exhibition, recognising her ability to convey the energy and depth of the

ocean. Her work invites viewers to pause, reflect and experience the

dialogue between the sea and our connection with it.
