I am delighted to have been awarded the Guild of Ships Painting Award for 2025.

The Painting prize is to be artist in residence on a eco-sailing vessel. The details are still to be confirmed but I'm very excited to start and plan what could be a life changing trip aboard a 68ft Lugger to Sweden.

Earlier this year I was delighted to be asked to take part in a new film celebrating the Royal Society of Marine Artists.

We spent a day filming in and around Salcombe with two other artists from the RSMA, Tony Williams and Colin Allbrook.  

A special thanks goes out to 'Podge' for letting us use his wonderful boatyard for filming in.

Montemarcello is a Tuscan village nestled just behind the high cliffs of the Italian coast an hour above Pisa.

The Art residency included Abigail McDougall, Jemma Appleby and Greg Ramsden.

The residency was by invitation and was held in April 2024.

The following work was either completed there or on returning home.
