Dominique Warren
Dominique Warren is a contemporary realism painter working primarily in oil on stretched canvas. Growing up on England’s south coast has had a lasting influence on her practice, inspiring recurring themes of seafood, coastal culture, and the familiar rituals surrounding food. She reimagines the traditional still life genre through a bold and accessible lens, focusing on food and everyday objects such as shellfish, playing cards, disco balls, and nostalgic domestic items. By placing the subject centrally and eliminating unnecessary visual complexity, she creates work that is immediate, emotionally resonant, and easy to engage with, while remaining grounded in strong technical foundations of light, structure, and composition.
Dominique's work was selected for the Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London in 2025.
